Stella's Secret Stash

Team Stella was made up of all the nurses and doctors that cared for Stella. Team Stella went above and beyond to make sure our daughter had all the care she needed, while providing all the support we needed as well. Nurse Kim, followed Stella home and signed up with her home care agency to continue to take care of Stella. Stella thought of Kim as her second mom and they continue to have that bond today. Nurse Ellen, continued to visit, share her incredible knowledge and show her support. She is still a special part of our lives. Nurse Cindy and Stella won a photo contest together and became cover girls (see more information and their picture below) Cindy also continues to show her support today and holds a special place in our heart. Stella’s night nurses, Rochelle and Lorin provided Stella with her care at night and allowed us to be able to sleep. They too are still in contact with us,

Did you ever wonder where those cute Stelladorable hats came from? Stella’s home health nurse, Heidi! Heidi, created the Stelladorable line and hand sews those beautiful hats with the help of her friend Linda. They ever got me sewing and making Stelladorable Clips.

Then there was Nurse Michelle, Stella’s Palliative care nurse, who was with us the day Stella passed away. Michelle guided us through the most difficult day. Her love and compassion is one of a kind. She is still a big part of our lives.

Big thank you to our family who held our hand every step of the way and continues to do so. Without them and their love for us and our children, we never could have done this. We love you all so much!
